The BIRKENSTOCK Kay clog boasts two straps, one of which is fixed firmly to the shaft. Thanks to the hidden stud on the side, the second strap can be folded back and, if necessary, can either be worn on the shaft or as an ankle strap for extra grip. This version features a geometrical print. Thanks to its two components, the sole promotes stability and comfort. It comprises a cushioning midsole made from EVA and a slip-resistant outsole made from genuine rubber. The upper is made from the skin-friendly, hard-wearing synthetic material Birko-Flor®.

Insole: Natural leather
Natural leather can be recognized by its untreated surface. BIRKENSTOCK purposely does not treat surface grains and other characteristic features. BIRKENSTOCK uses sturdy leather with a thickness of 2.8 to 3.2 millimeters as upper material.
Footbed material: Cork
Cork is a sustainable material extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak. This natural product is insulating and offers very good cushioning.
Outsole: Super-grip
The super-grip sole is comprised of two components: a nonslip, oil- and grease-resistant outsole made of rubber and a shock-absorbing midsole made of light, flexible EVA.
