The BIRKENSTOCK Salina sandal is the ideal item of footwear for fashion-conscious women
who attach great importance to elegance and comfort. This delicate and seemingly see-through model with an anatomically formed original BIRKENSTOCK cork-latex footbed and smooth suede lining melds design and comfort to great effect. Thanks to individually adjustable metal buckles, two slender straps above the instep and the toe section ensure that the sandal is a perfect fit for every foot. The additional strap that runs diagonally across the instep lends the sandal a sophisticated note and provides the foot with additional grip.
The upper is made of skin-friendly, easy-clean Birko-Flor®. This high-quality synthetic material is exceptionally abrasion-resistant and durable. The underside is fitted with a highly soft and skin-friendly layer of fleece and therefore cozies up to the skin. The ultra lightweight, flexible EVA sole facilitates a rolling motion that is good for feet and body.

Insole: Natural leather
Natural leather can be recognized by its untreated surface. BIRKENSTOCK purposely does not treat surface grains and other characteristic features. BIRKENSTOCK uses sturdy leather with a thickness of 2.8 to 3.2 millimeters as upper material.
Footbed material: Cork
Cork is a sustainable material extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak. This natural product is insulating and offers very good cushioning.
Outsole: EVA
EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) is a high-quality, very light, elastic material with extremely good cushioning. As a result, it smooths out slight irregularities in the floor and ensures that every step is softly cushioned.
