The BIRKENSTOCK Sonora is the perfect sandal for all those who are on their feet all day and who expect a high level of comfort from their footwear. The sandal boasts a distinctive sole, which is reinforced in the heel area and combined with understated straps. The polyurethane sole is affixed to the footbed in two layers and therefore offers maximum flexibility, grip and durability. The upper is made from the skin-friendly, hard-wearing synthetic material Birko-Flor® in a sophisticated nubuck look which boasts a texture and color that could almost be mistaken for real leather.

Natural leather can be recognized by its untreated surface. BIRKENSTOCK purposely does not treat surface grains and other characteristic features. BIRKENSTOCK uses sturdy leather with a thickness of 2.8 to 3.2 millimeters as upper material.
Footbed material: Cork
Cork is a sustainable material extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak. This natural product is insulating and offers very good cushioning.
