The Kano model combines the anatomically shaped design of the original BIRKENSTOCK footbed with an additional latex heel cushion and an air-cushioned polyurethane sole. The adjustable heel strap prevents the back of the foot from slipping and provides additional lateral support in combination with the two instep straps. The material offers lasting flexibility, is incredibly robust and is easy to maintain.

Insole: Natural leather
Natural leather can be recognized by its untreated surface. BIRKENSTOCK purposely does not treat surface grains and other characteristic features. BIRKENSTOCK uses sturdy leather with a thickness of 2.8 to 3.2 millimeters as upper material.
