"Die Gatbe fällt so aus wie auf den Bildern. Wirklich schon. Der Schuh ist schmal wie beschrieben. In der Größe an sich fällt er etwas klein aus. Geht aber noch. Was mir nicht gefällt ist das sich irgendwie die Form im vergleich zu früher geändert hat, wirkt an der Innenseite vorne komisch lang. Material fühlt sich gut an. Hoffe auf gute Haltbarkeit."

"Habe mir den Schuh tatsächlich als leichten Hausschuh gekauft, aber er ist so bequem und schön, dass ich ihn nun auch viel draußen trage. Daher benötige ich wahrscheinlich noch ein zweites Paar. Die Farbe ist wunderschön und ich trage Birkenstock-Sandalen schon viele Jahre. Eine tolle Alternative zu den Ledersandalen, leicht und schnell zu reinigen. Eine wirkliche Empfehlung!"

"Trage normalerweise 39/40, habe mir wegen der Bewertung die Schlappen in 40 bestellt und in der Größe 40 und auch in 41 schließt mein Fuß genau ab, sodass es aussieht, als wäre er an meinem Fuß gefesselt ;-). 42 ist leider ausverkauft. Beim nächsten Mal bin ich schneller."

"I ordered my first pair of Eva's in the same size as my 4 other Birkenstocks. They were too big, and it was disappointing that although the return was free, I then had to pay postage a second time to get the right size. All that said, I find them incredibly comfortable, I love the big buckle to detract a little from my larger size feet, and they're just a very useful (although perhaps overpriced) shoe."

The Original Birkenstock Footbed
The heart of all models is the original BIRKENSTOCK footbed. The construction, which has been thought out to the smallest detail and makes it feel like you're standing in sand, helps your feet feel as comfortable as possible for hours on end. This supports health and promotes wellbeing.
The very deep molding in the heel area supports the foot tissue and holds the heel bone firmly in its natural position. This provides the foot with nearly as much support when it is in a sandal as when it is in a closed shoe.
Activates the calf muscles, stabilises the back of the foot and improves gait and coordination.
The arch supports that run alongside the sides of the footbed surround the tarsal bones inside and out. This gives the foot the stability it needs when it takes a step.
The support that runs through the middle of the footbed stabilizes the metatarsal bone. In this way, the transverse arch support helps ensure that the foot has a naturally straight and solid stance.
There are raised indentations at the front of the footbed near the toes. Thanks to the toe grip the toes remain loose and spread out in their natural position. The indentations also support the natural rolling motion of the toes.
The footbed is drawn up especially high at the front. As a result, the high footbed edge protects the toes during the rolling motion of the foot.
