"J’ai commandé pour mon époux une deuxième paire à l’identique ( 41 et largeur étroite) pour remplacer les précédentes vite déchirées à la fin de l’été. Nous sommes des fans de Birkenstock. Je n’ose pas dire combien de paires habitent mon armoire à chaussures. Les Arizona Eva sont hyper confortables , pas chères …mais fragiles après trois mois d’utilisation A noter que cette deuxième paire chausse plutôt plus petit que la précédente qui était plus proche d’un 42."

"Es ist mein viertes oder fünftes Paar, da sie nie lange halten, die Sohle ist sehr schnell abgelaufen. Leider hat man das Material verändert bzw. diesmal war der Schuh viel härter als sonst. Habe ihn dennoch aus Bequemlichkeit behalten und bin gespannt, ob die Sohle sich vielleicht nicht so schnell abläuft wie bisher aufgrund des härteren Materials und hoffe das er bei längerem Spaziergang genau so bequem wie sonst ist."

"I love these shoes. I’ve had them before. But I was surprised this time they arrived narrower and shorter in length. I queried this with customer services but they said it wasn’t possible or what might have happened is the material spread with my old pair from ware. I really do not believe that is the case because the actual sole at the bottom placed against the new shoe was wider. It was nothing to do with ordering a narrow or regular as I always order regular. They were about half an inch narrower and half an inch shorter. Very strange. I’ve had to return them so that I can wait for a refund and then order the next size app. I don’t understand really, but I love Birkenstocks. ."

"Nach 3 stornierten Bestellungen hat Birkenstock es geschafft bei der vierten innerhalb einer Bestellung einen falschen, einen defekten und einen verschmutzten Schuh zu versenden. Wenn Birkenstock zurückgesendete Ware nicht einmal mehr überprüft, oder reinigt, bevor sie erneut versendet werden, schwindet das Vertrauen sofort. Ein Support Ticket im Anschluss an das Ärgernis war nur Zeitverschwendung."

"Ich habe mich in die papaya-farbigen EVA Sandalen total verguckt und daher akzeptiert, dass sie ein wenig zu schmal für mich sind. Wieso gibt's für Größen unter 42 keine nomal breiten EVA-Arizonas? nicht nachvollziehbar..."

The Original Birkenstock Footbed
The heart of all models is the original BIRKENSTOCK footbed. The construction, which has been thought out to the smallest detail and makes it feel like you're standing in sand, helps your feet feel as comfortable as possible for hours on end. This supports health and promotes wellbeing.
The very deep molding in the heel area supports the foot tissue and holds the heel bone firmly in its natural position. This provides the foot with nearly as much support when it is in a sandal as when it is in a closed shoe.
Activates the calf muscles, stabilises the back of the foot and improves gait and coordination.
The arch supports that run alongside the sides of the footbed surround the tarsal bones inside and out. This gives the foot the stability it needs when it takes a step.
The support that runs through the middle of the footbed stabilizes the metatarsal bone. In this way, the transverse arch support helps ensure that the foot has a naturally straight and solid stance.
There are raised indentations at the front of the footbed near the toes. Thanks to the toe grip the toes remain loose and spread out in their natural position. The indentations also support the natural rolling motion of the toes.
The footbed is drawn up especially high at the front. As a result, the high footbed edge protects the toes during the rolling motion of the foot.
