"Hallo, es geht um die Milano Leder Sandalen. Sandalen sehen gut aus, sind leicht und haltbar. Ich trage die Sommer wie Winter und kann sie nur weiter empfehlen. Worauf Birkenstock achten sollte, das die Fersenriemen aus festen stabilen Leder gefertigt werden. Oft habe ich erlebt das gerade das Leder zu weich war und man nach einigen Wochen den Fersenriemen unter dem Hacken hatte. Gut wäre es weiterhin, wenn die 2 Riemen auf dem Spann 10mm länger wären und ein Loch mehr vorhanden wäre. Männerfüße sind manchmal etwas größer.... :) Ja und der Preis...."

"Hallo zusammen, leider kann ich dazu nichts sagen. Das Model Milano Crosstown gibt es nur in der weite Standard. Das Model gibt es in der weite schmal nicht. Ist eigentlich schade. Ich glaube es gäbe genügend abnehmer die es in schmal auch kaufen würden. Gebt das mal bitte weiter. Bietet die Milano Crosstown auch in schmal an und ich bin der erste der Sie kauft :-) Dank euch"

"Die Schuhe sind an sich schön aber es gibt einige Dinge daran, die mir nicht gefallen. Die Riemen färben schwarz auf meine Füße ab, außerdem lassen sie sich einfach nicht bequem für mich einstellen, die Schnalle hinten drückt immer etwas. Die Schnallen sind generell sehr schnell wellig an den Stellen geworden, an denen ich sie immer festziehe um den Metallstift durchzustecken"

Oiled leather is one of our favourite types of leather. Its oily waxed surface makes for a unique colour effect and develops a beautiful patina. The oily finish of our natural leather products results in colour variation, making each and every pair unique.
Insole: Natural leather
Natural leather can be recognized by its untreated surface. BIRKENSTOCK purposely does not treat surface grains and other characteristic features. BIRKENSTOCK uses sturdy leather with a thickness of 2.8 to 3.2 millimeters as upper material.
Footbed material: Cork
Cork is a sustainable material extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak. This natural product is insulating and offers very good cushioning.

The Original Birkenstock Footbed
The heart of all models is the original BIRKENSTOCK footbed. The construction, which has been thought out to the smallest detail and makes it feel like you're standing in sand, helps your feet feel as comfortable as possible for hours on end. This supports health and promotes wellbeing.
The very deep molding in the heel area supports the foot tissue and holds the heel bone firmly in its natural position. This provides the foot with nearly as much support when it is in a sandal as when it is in a closed shoe.
Activates the calf muscles, stabilises the back of the foot and improves gait and coordination.
The arch supports that run alongside the sides of the footbed surround the tarsal bones inside and out. This gives the foot the stability it needs when it takes a step.
The support that runs through the middle of the footbed stabilizes the metatarsal bone. In this way, the transverse arch support helps ensure that the foot has a naturally straight and solid stance.
There are raised indentations at the front of the footbed near the toes. Thanks to the toe grip the toes remain loose and spread out in their natural position. The indentations also support the natural rolling motion of the toes.
The footbed is drawn up especially high at the front. As a result, the high footbed edge protects the toes during the rolling motion of the foot.
