Pay securely with your payment method of choice in the BIRKENSTOCK online store
We offer the following payment methods in the BIRKENSTOCK online shop:
With PayPal and PayPal Express, payments are easy and secure. During the order process, you will simply be redirected to PayPal. If you are already registered with PayPal, you can log in and pay via your PayPal account. PayPal also offers the option to make payments as a guest without a registration. If you are offered the option of making a payment via PayPal Express, clicking on the PayPal Express button will take you directly to the PayPal login without entering your address and payment details. This way you can complete your order even faster.
You can conveniently pay in the BIRKENSTOCK online shop by credit card. We currently accept American Express, Master Card and Visa Card. We credit the refunds for your returns to your credit card account.
An integrated SSL procedure ensures the security of the data transmitted during credit card payments.
If your credit card provider participates in the 3D Secure process (security process and authentication of your credit card), you may be asked to enter your PIN at the end of your order. If you have questions about registering for the 3D Secure process, please contact your credit card provider directly.
Due to an EU directive, we are obliged to carry out 2-factor authentication when processing credit card payments.
Payments need to be approved by 2 factors. These can be knowledge factors (e.g. password or pin), possession factors (e.g. mobile phone) or biometric factors (e.g. fingerprint).
For customers that do not have a smartphone, there are alternative identification processes, e.g. using a TAN generator or sending the PIN via SMS.
The services offered depend on the relevant credit institutions.
If you choose to pay by invoice, you will pay with a due date of 30 days from the date of shipment of the goods, tickets, or other services, the date of availability of the services or digital content. The shop assigns the claim to Klarna Bank AB (“Klarna”). Klarna will send you a payment instruction, and you pay for your order directly to Klarna. Contact details and further information about Klarna can be found on klarna.com. If you have opted for Klarna's monthly billing and aggregation service, Klarna will bundle your purchases made with payment by invoice and send you a monthly statement summarizing all purchases instead of sending you a separate invoice for each purchase.
Apple Pay is a quick and comfortable payment provider for Apple devices. For the use of Apple Pay a credit card from a bank, which cooperates with Apple, is required. You are able to pay via Apple Pay directly in the cart.
Gift certificates and their balance can only be redeemed before the completion of the order process. A subsequent set-off is not possible. The balance of a gift certificate is not paid out in cash and does not bear interest.
