Terms and conditions of participation
Participation in the survey and prize draw of Birkenstock digital GmbH (hereinafter ‘the Operator’ or ‘Organiser’) is voluntary and is exclusively governed by these terms and conditions of participation.Participation
To participate in the prize draw, the survey must be completed and submitted and an email address must be provided. Participation is only possible during the period of participation (beginning on 17.01.23 and ending on 14.02.23). Any submissions after the period of participation will not be taken into account for the prize draw.Only one submitted survey shall be accepted per participant in the prize draw. The submission of multiple email addresses to increase the chances of winning is strictly forbidden.
Participation in the prize draw is free of charge.
Eligible participants
The persons eligible to participate are natural persons whose place of residence is in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Spain or Poland and who have reached the age of 16 and have completed the survey. Participation is not restricted to customers of the Organiser and is not conditional upon the purchase of goods or services.Should a participant have limited legal capacity (for reasons other than their age), the consent of the participant’s legal representative is required.
All persons involved in the conception and implementation of the prize draw and the Organiser’s employees are excluded from participation. The Operator additionally reserves the right to exclude persons from participation at its own discretion if there are legitimate reasons for doing so, such as
(a) manipulation regarding access to or execution of the prize draw, (b) violations of the terms and conditions of participation, (c) unfair practices or (d) the provision of false or misleading information in connection with entering the prize draw.
Prize, notification and presentation of the prize
The following prizes shall be awarded:10 x 100 € BIRKENSTOCK vouchers, redeemable exclusively at birkenstock.com. The winners will be selected at random from among all the participants in a draw conducted after the period of participation.
The winners of the prize draw will be notified by email approximately four weeks after termination of the survey and the voucher will be sent to their email address. The voucher shall remain valid for one year from receipt by email.
The prize will be presented exclusively to the winner or to the winner’s statutory representative. The prize may not be exchanged or collected and there shall be no cash alternative.
Any costs incurred for shipment of the prizes shall be borne by the Operator. Additional costs related to the claiming of the prize shall be borne by the winner. The winner shall be responsible for any taxation of the prize.
Termination of the prize draw
The Organiser explicitly reserves the right to terminate the prize draw without prior notice and without stating any reasons for doing so. This applies in particular to any reasons which would interfere with or hinder the orderly execution of the prize draw.Data protection
The submission of personal data is required for the purposes of prize draw participation. The participant confirms that the personal information they provide, in particular their email address, is true and correct.The Organiser informs the participant that none of the participant’s personal data shall be shared with or made available to third parties for use without the participant’s consent.
The survey tool GetFeedback by SurveyMonkey, which is used for the prize draw, constitutes an exception here. With this tool, data is collected anonymously, stored and used for the purpose of executing the survey and the prize draw. The Organiser likewise reserves the right to analyse personal data for its own marketing purposes in the course of orderly outsourced data processing.

can be found in the Organiser’s privacy policy.
A participant may revoke their consent previously granted at any time. A revocation in writing is to be addressed to the Organiser’s contact details listed in the legal notice of the website birkenstock.com. The participant’s collected and stored personal data shall be erased immediately upon consent being revoked. Revocation of consent excludes a participant from entering the prize draw. If consent is revoked following receipt of a prize, the participant is obliged to choose between purchasing or returning the prize.
