In celebration of the Lunar New Year, BIRKENSTOCK 1774 introduces a special collection for the Year of the Snake. The Florida silhouette is crafted from premium Italian leather with python embossing and a soft nappa leather lining. The design features vibrant beige and red tones, with the signature anatomically shaped footbed in black leather, and is finished with 1774's gold or silver buckles.

Material

Special feature: Exquisite

The footbed liner and outer edge of the footbed of BIRKENSTOCK Exquisite models are wrapped in very soft and supple nappa leather.

Upper material: Natural leather

The natural leather that we use is mostly smooth leather, in some cases tumbled leather. This type of leather has many special characteristics, such as breathability, adaptation to the shape of the foot and durability.

Insole: Natural leather

Natural leather can be recognized by its untreated surface. BIRKENSTOCK purposely does not treat surface grains and other characteristic features. BIRKENSTOCK uses sturdy leather with a thickness of 2.8 to 3.2 millimeters as upper material.

Footbed material: Cork

Cork is a sustainable material extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak. This natural product is insulating and offers very good cushioning.

Outsole: EVA

EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) is a high-quality, very light, elastic material with extremely good cushioning. As a result, it smooths out slight irregularities in the floor and ensures that every step is softly cushioned.
