The limited-edition Arizona comes in black and raw beige. Crafted in BIRKENSTOCK’s German factories, the leather is molded over the hardware using heat and humidity for a three-dimensional look. The natural vegetable-tanned leather develops a unique patina over time, telling a personal story with each step.
- Upper: Two layers of luxurious vegetable-tanned leather for a decorative, 3-dimensional look, contrast stitching and finished with edge-painting. Leather will change colour after time and light exposure.
- Footbed: Anatomically shaped BIRKENSTOCK cork-latex footbed, covered with premium, color-matching, smooth, semi-vegetable tanned leather.
- Sole: Newly developed leather outsole
- Branding: 1774 branding in the heel cup
- Packaging: Exclusive brown 1774 packaging, black or nude dust bags with 1774 print

The footbed liner and outer edge of the footbed of BIRKENSTOCK Exquisite models are wrapped in very soft and supple nappa leather.
Upper material: Natural leather
The natural leather that we use is mostly smooth leather, in some cases tumbled leather. This type of leather has many special characteristics, such as breathability, adaptation to the shape of the foot and durability.
Insole: Natural leather
Natural leather can be recognized by its untreated surface. BIRKENSTOCK purposely does not treat surface grains and other characteristic features. BIRKENSTOCK uses sturdy leather with a thickness of 2.8 to 3.2 millimeters as upper material.
Footbed material: Cork
Cork is a sustainable material extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak. This natural product is insulating and offers very good cushioning.
Outsole: Natural leather
