Launched as a “gymnastics sandal” half a century ago, this simple single-strap model has gone on to become a firm fashion favorite. We are now giving this popular classic the opportunity to show off its original design in our anniversary collection. With its buckles, the footbed, the outsole, and the packaging, the sandal replicates the 1963 original and exudes veritable retro flair. Every pair of the limited edition bears is own unique number and comes with the red BIRKENSTOCK seal and matching socks. The upper is made from soft, grained natural leather.

The footbed shown is the BIRKENSTOCK Shoes Standard Suede, which is found in most BIRKENSTOCK shoes with replaceable footbed.
