The BIRKENSTOCK Birmingham Slip On is a rustic Chelsea boot. The robust rubber outsole ensures a secure grip and can be repaired when worn down. The comfortable and light Deep Blue Footbed makes the shoe a perfect 24/7 all-rounder, especially on long and active days. Perfect for your next holiday, extensive walks or city trips. The classic is now available as a premium version with a leather runner board and striking stitching. The runner board constitutes the substructure of the footbed and is not visible. The upper is made from exceptionally high-quality Horween cowhide which was initially developed for use in professional sports.

Oiled leather is one of our favourite types of leather. Its oily waxed surface makes for a unique colour effect and develops a beautiful patina. The oily finish of our natural leather products results in colour variation, making each and every pair unique.
Insole: Felt
Synthetic felt is a soft alternative to wool felt and does not contain any animal-based components. It is typically used as an upper material for slippers.
Footbed material: Polyurethane
Polyurethane (PU) is a flexible, water- and dirt-repellent synthetic material which makes footwear easy to care for.
Outsole: Rubber
Because of its high elasticity rubber is very well suited for outsoles. Thanks to this property it supports the natural rolling motion of the foot. Rubber is also very robust and has good cushioning.
