The BIRKENSTOCK Solana combines the stability of a closed shoe with the lightness of a sandal. Although closed at the sides, this version is open at the toes and heel to ensure the feet get enough fresh air. The hook-and-loop fastener ensures perfect support and can be adjusted individually. The natural shearling footbed lining and shearling-lined hook-and-loop fastener exude style and keep feet warm. The upper is made from especially soft suede which hugs the foot like a second skin.

Shearling is high-quality, soft sheep- or lambskin. The material is warm, breathable and has temperature-regulating properties.

Cork is a sustainable material extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak. This natural product is insulating and offers very good cushioning.
Outsole: EVA
EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) is a high-quality, very light, elastic material with extremely good cushioning. As a result, it smooths out slight irregularities in the floor and ensures that every step is softly cushioned.
