At the heart of every pair of BIRKENSTOCK work shoes is our anatomically shaped footbed, meticulously designed to mimic the natural contours of your foot. From the raised toe bar to the deep heel cup, the footbed has been constructed to distribute weight evenly across the foot, keeping it firmly in its natural position and promoting a natural rolling motion.
The footbed gradually moulds to the shape of your foot over time, for a truly customised fit that only gets better with time.
BIRKENSTOCK SAFETY FOOTWEAR STANDARDS
BIRKENSTOCK safety shoes, trainers and boots are certified in accordance with EN ISO 20345:2011. Depending on the model, they may also offer features such as ESD protection.
Our ESD sandals are tested in accordance with EN 61340 and are designed to help dissipate electrostatic charge. However, they do not offer the same level of protection as EN ISO 20345-certified safety shoes and boots. They are best-suited to those working with sensitive electronic equipment in controlled indoor environments where heavy or falling objects do not present a risk.
