"Die Bestellung lief super und die Birkenstocks sehen wirklich toll aus – die Farbe gefällt mir richtig gut. Sie sind unglaublich bequem und tragen sich hervorragend. Sehr hilfreich war der Hinweis, dass sie etwas größer ausfallen. Ich habe sie deshalb eine Nummer kleiner als gewohnt bestellt, und so passen sie einfach perfekt. Absolute Empfehlung!"
Gut aber zu teuer!!
"Sehr gut verarbeitete 2-Riemen Sandale, die es in unendlich vielen Farb- und Materialvarianten gibt. Leider in vielen Schuhgeschäften nicht mehr im Sortiment, da völlig überteuert und es genügend Hersteller gibt, die günstigere Sandalen in der Birkenstock Optik anbieten. Ich habe mich dennoch für Birkenstock entschieden weil sie extrem lange halten und in meiner Größe 47 genügend Auswahl war. Gerade bei der Größe schwächeln die anderen Hersteller. Der hohe Preis ist daher der einzige Kritikpunkt."

"Très satisfaite de mes sandales Birkenstock ! Elles sont vraiment très confortables, agréables à porter au quotidien et parfaites même après plusieurs heures de marche. Le cuir est de très belle qualité, avec une finition soignée et un joli rendu. Elles sont à la fois élégantes, solides et confortables. Je les recommande sans hésiter !"

"Wat een heerlijke slippers zijn dit. Met dat fraaie stoere leder. Lekker ook in huis met dikke sokken (de winter komt er aan). Heb al de Ramses en de Medina. Die hebben een teenstukje waardoor ze niet zo lekker met sokken lopen, maar voor de zomer zijn ze heerlijk. Nu nog een keer de Boston er bij kopen….."

"Schön, dass es Produkte gibt, die seit Jahrzehnten konstant eine hohe Qualität bieten, der Erwartung entsprechen und sich höchstens farblich modisch ausdifferenzieren. Ich kaufe trotzdem die schwarzen. Die Schlappen komplett aus Kunstoff für Wasser und Strand kann ich auch empfehlen - erstaunlich gut und besser als Flip-Flops."

"Birkenstock enttäuscht bei den Naturlederprodukten einfach nie. Robust, zeitlos, schön. Ich trage normalerweise eine 37. 5/38, bei der normalen Weite passt mir die 37 perfekt. Bei schmaler Weite wäre 38 passend gewesen. Brauchen etwas Zeit sich einzulaufen, dann will man sie nie wieder ausziehen."

Oiled leather is one of our favourite types of leather. Its oily waxed surface makes for a unique colour effect and develops a beautiful patina. The oily finish of our natural leather products results in colour variation, making each and every pair unique.
Insole: Natural leather
Natural leather can be recognized by its untreated surface. BIRKENSTOCK purposely does not treat surface grains and other characteristic features. BIRKENSTOCK uses sturdy leather with a thickness of 2.8 to 3.2 millimeters as upper material.
Footbed material: Cork
Cork is a sustainable material extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak. This natural product is insulating and offers very good cushioning.
Outsole: EVA
EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) is a high-quality, very light, elastic material with extremely good cushioning. As a result, it smooths out slight irregularities in the floor and ensures that every step is softly cushioned.

The Original Birkenstock Footbed
The heart of all models is the original BIRKENSTOCK footbed. The construction, which has been thought out to the smallest detail and makes it feel like you're standing in sand, helps your feet feel as comfortable as possible for hours on end. This supports health and promotes wellbeing.
The very deep molding in the heel area supports the foot tissue and holds the heel bone firmly in its natural position. This provides the foot with nearly as much support when it is in a sandal as when it is in a closed shoe.
Activates the calf muscles, stabilises the back of the foot and improves gait and coordination.
The arch supports that run alongside the sides of the footbed surround the tarsal bones inside and out. This gives the foot the stability it needs when it takes a step.
The support that runs through the middle of the footbed stabilizes the metatarsal bone. In this way, the transverse arch support helps ensure that the foot has a naturally straight and solid stance.
There are raised indentations at the front of the footbed near the toes. Thanks to the toe grip the toes remain loose and spread out in their natural position. The indentations also support the natural rolling motion of the toes.
The footbed is drawn up especially high at the front. As a result, the high footbed edge protects the toes during the rolling motion of the foot.
