The BIRKENSTOCK models Zermatt and Andermatt are models featuring a removable footbed. This means you can choose between three insoles. You can choose from the Standard Footbed, the Soft Footbed and the Shearling Footbed. All three insoles can be ordered separately. Perfect for all year round! The Standard Footbed is our popular classic which replicates the natural print made by a foot walking on sand and will see you through the day in comfort. And that’s how it works: the replacement footbed should lie flat on the inner shoe sole and fit snugly into the heel part of the shoe. If required, any existing replacement footbeds should first be removed from the shoe.
