"Die jeweils verwendeten Leder für das vollständig ausgekleidete Fußbett sowie die Riemchen sind beide von hervorragender Qualität. Das ohnehin schon stets bequeme Fußbett wird durch den Volllederbezug noch anschmiegsam er. Das Obermaterial bekommt durch das ebenfalls sehr hochwertige und ebenfalls weich anschmiegsame und zugleich stabile, dezent glänzende Leder ein sehr angenehmes Tragegefühl an den Füßen. Die hochwertigen Schnallen sind massiv und chromfarben hochglänzend, was einen edlen Kontrast zum tiefschwarz glänzenden Leder ergibt. Die Nieten haben ungefähr Stecknadelkopfgröße, wobei sie professionell in der Weise befestigt sind, dass sie fest im Leder sitzen, aber keinesfalls an den Füßen innen zu spüren sind durch eine geniale Technik der Befestigung im Leder statt durch das Leder. Das Aussehen an den Füßen ist einfach sehr chic - auffällig auf eine sehr edle Weise. Der Preis ist sicherlich hoch, aber als langjähriger Kenner und Liebhaber von original Birkenstock-Sandalen, habe ich dieses Modell meiner Frau geschenkt, da sie diesen Stil mit Nieten sehr mag. Der Preis bleibt also hoch, jedoch bleiben die einmalig herausragende Qualität und der raffinierte Stil auch heute noch unvergleichbar, so dass es für mich keine andere Alternative gibt, als bei so schönem Stil und dabei natürlich der stets besten Qualität und Haltbarkeit mich wieder zum Kauf zu entscheiden. Daher mein Fazit: ein hoher Preis für beste Qualität - es bleibt immer wieder ein Unikat von bleibendem Wert und Freude beim Anschauen und Tragen. Absolute Kaufempfehlung 🌞🌟✨💫👌👍"

The Original Birkenstock Footbed
The heart of all models is the original BIRKENSTOCK footbed. The construction, which has been thought out to the smallest detail and makes it feel like you're standing in sand, helps your feet feel as comfortable as possible for hours on end. This supports health and promotes wellbeing.
The very deep molding in the heel area supports the foot tissue and holds the heel bone firmly in its natural position. This provides the foot with nearly as much support when it is in a sandal as when it is in a closed shoe.
Activates the calf muscles, stabilises the back of the foot and improves gait and coordination.
The arch supports that run alongside the sides of the footbed surround the tarsal bones inside and out. This gives the foot the stability it needs when it takes a step.
The support that runs through the middle of the footbed stabilizes the metatarsal bone. In this way, the transverse arch support helps ensure that the foot has a naturally straight and solid stance.
There are raised indentations at the front of the footbed near the toes. Thanks to the toe grip the toes remain loose and spread out in their natural position. The indentations also support the natural rolling motion of the toes.
