"Das Leder der Riemen an beiden Paaren ist zu weich. Dadurch fallen die Riemen zusammen und man kann in die Schuhe nicht einsteigen. Man muss sich bücken, die Riemen hochziehen, um den Fuß in den Schuh hineinschieben zu können. Für weit über 200€ ein Komplettreinfall."

"Guten Tag, die Schuhe sind wunderbar, doch mein Mann hat einen langen großen Zeh, deshalb Rücksendung. Wir sind daraufhin zu Ihrer Zweigstelle nach Freiburg. Dort haben wir die passenden Schuhe gefunden. Leider wurde dort die Rücknahme von der Internet-Bestellung nicht erstattet. Das fand ich schade. Schöne Grüße Bruni"

"Leider ist das Material des Leders so dünn, dass die Schnallen nach dem Ausziehen des Schuhs zusammenklappen, was das neue Einsteigen ziemlich umständlich macht! 🤨"

"Ich trage seit Jahren Birkenstock. Regulär habe ich bei anderen Marken Gr.38,5-39. Zwischengrössen sind überall schwierig zu bekommen. Ich habe keine übermässig breiten Füsse und trage bei Birkenstock 37 normale Breite. 38 ist mir etwas zu gross. Bei 37 füllt der Fuss natürlich das gesamte Fussbett."

"Durch zu weite Schnallen hängt der Schuh am Fuß, mit zusätzlichen Löchern könnte das Problem evtl gelöst werden aber...man muss jedes mal beim Anziehen die schnallen hochziehen und kann nicht einfach hinein schlüpfen. Das ist für mich ein Killer Kriterium. Fühlen sich aber sonst super an und sehen auch gut aus."

"Die Arizona Soft Footbed in Wildleder passt mir sehr gut und ist extrem angenehm zu tragen. Das weiche Fußbett ist tatsächlich noch einmal einen Tick komfortabler als das normale, schon beim ersten Reinschlüpfen fühlt sich der Schuh richtig weich an. Auch die Farbe ist total schön. Einen Stern ziehe ich ab, weil das Leder der Riemen ebenfalls sehr weich ist und die Schnallen dadurch nach unten Richtung Fußbett durchhängen. Ich kann deshalb nicht einfach hineinschlüpfen: Entweder drücke ich die Schuhspitze leicht gegen eine Wand und schiebe den Fuß durch die herabhängenden Riemen, oder ich helfe mit der Hand nach. Da ich ihn als Hausschuh trage und häufiger an- und ausziehe, ist das etwas umständlich. Ansonsten ein prima Schuh mit tollem Fußbett, den ich trotzdem weiterempfehle."

The Original Birkenstock Footbed
The heart of all models is the original BIRKENSTOCK footbed. The construction, which has been thought out to the smallest detail and makes it feel like you're standing in sand, helps your feet feel as comfortable as possible for hours on end. This supports health and promotes wellbeing.
The very deep molding in the heel area supports the foot tissue and holds the heel bone firmly in its natural position. This provides the foot with nearly as much support when it is in a sandal as when it is in a closed shoe.
Activates the calf muscles, stabilises the back of the foot and improves gait and coordination.
The arch supports that run alongside the sides of the footbed surround the tarsal bones inside and out. This gives the foot the stability it needs when it takes a step.
The support that runs through the middle of the footbed stabilizes the metatarsal bone. In this way, the transverse arch support helps ensure that the foot has a naturally straight and solid stance.
There are raised indentations at the front of the footbed near the toes. Thanks to the toe grip the toes remain loose and spread out in their natural position. The indentations also support the natural rolling motion of the toes.
The footbed is drawn up especially high at the front. As a result, the high footbed edge protects the toes during the rolling motion of the foot.
