The BIRKENSTOCK Madrid is the oldest member of the family of models, making it a veritable classic. Launched as a “gymnastics sandal” half a century ago, this simple single-strap model has gone on to become a firm fashion favorite. We are now giving this popular classic the opportunity to show off its original design in our anniversary collection. With its buckles, the footbed, the outsole, and the packaging, the sandal replicates the 1963 original and exudes veritable retro flair. Every pair of the limited edition bears is own unique number and comes with the red BIRKENSTOCK seal and matching socks. The upper is made from soft, grained natural leather.
To fittingly mark the anniversary, every anniversary style comes with a free pair of matching socks.
