The Birmingham Lace is crafted with an original BIRKENSTOCK cork PU midsole and premium Horween leather, designed to age beautifully with wear for a distinctly vintage look. Inside, a Deep Blue Footbed optimizes your comfort, with a moisture-wicking lining and PU base that works with your natural walking motion on long, active days. A rubber sole gives you the added traction to tread comfortably.

Upper material: Oiled leather
Oiled leather is one of our favourite types of leather. Its oily waxed surface makes for a unique colour effect and develops a beautiful patina. The oily finish of our natural leather products results in colour variation, making each and every pair unique.
Insole: Microfibre
Microfibre is a skin-friendly material which is soft and yet tear-resistant. Because they are free of animal products they are used as the covering material for the lining of footbeds in vegan products, among other things.
Footbed material: Polyurethane
Polyurethane (PU) is a flexible, water- and dirt-repellent synthetic material which makes footwear easy to care for.
Outsole: Rubber
Because of its high elasticity rubber is very well suited for outsoles. Thanks to this property it supports the natural rolling motion of the foot. Rubber is also very robust and has good cushioning.
