BIRKENSTOCK MARIN

BIRKENSTOCK Marin opened in December 2022, as the fourth company-owned retail store in the United States. Just over the Golden Gate Bridge, the county of Marin is unlike any other. Known for its breathtaking natural landscape, surrounded by water, mountains and redwood trees, BIRKENSTOCK has had a heritage in this area nestled between San Francisco and the Napa Valley for over fifty years. Our roots in the area were started by a Bay Area resident named Margot Fraser. Fraser was a humble trailblazer who discovered the brand in 1966 on a spa trip to Germany. She is responsible for bringing BIRKENSTOCK products to the U.S. and for building the brand over its first forty years in the market.

Located at 1019 Larkspur Landing Circle within the Marin Country Mart in Larkspur, California, BIRKENSTOCK Marin evokes a modern and elevated space. The store design embodies the rich history of the brand and features core material of cork, felt and leather coupled with white oak to create a bright, refined and naturally comfortable space.
