The BIRKENSTOCK Prescott Lace is a sturdy shoe. The ankle-high lace-up boot can be combined with many sporty and casual outfits and can be worn in any weather thanks to the mudguard. The comfy and light Deep Blue Footbed makes the shoe a perfect 24/7 all-rounder, especially on long and active days. This version features a high-quality rubber outsole with a professionally inspired tread that offers excellent traction. Biomechanically positioned tread elements promote a natural movement and ensure maximum comfort when walking. The upper is made from extra thick, oiled nubuck leather with an open-selvage finish.

Oiled leather is one of our favourite types of leather. Its oily waxed surface makes for a unique colour effect and develops a beautiful patina. The oily finish of our natural leather products results in colour variation, making each and every pair unique.
Insole: Microfibre
Microfibre is a skin-friendly material which is soft and yet tear-resistant. Because they are free of animal products they are used as the covering material for the lining of footbeds in vegan products, among other things.
Footbed material: Polyurethane
Polyurethane (PU) is a flexible, water- and dirt-repellent synthetic material which makes footwear easy to care for.
Outsole: Rubber
Because of its high elasticity rubber is very well suited for outsoles. Thanks to this property it supports the natural rolling motion of the foot. Rubber is also very robust and has good cushioning.
