LONDON CALLING – BIRKENSTOCK IS CELEBRATING THE OPENING OF TWO NEW STORES IN THE FASHION CAPITAL OF BRITAIN

Both branches have an impressive new store design – which combines the feeling of being outdoors and indoors all at once, while also creating a calm, yet energising environment. A natural colour concept and design elements like cork, leather and felt highlight the classic BIRKENSTOCK philosophy. The open plan design, green plants and comfortable seating areas create a feel-good atmosphere.

What would London be without its famous taxis or double-decker buses? As part of the exclusive out-of-home campaign, the big store opening was celebrated with a fleet of 50 taxis and two London city buses painted in the typical blue BIRKENSTOCK design.

In addition to the iconic, classic sandals and seasonal highlights, both stores will also have a wide range of products for women, men and kids, including shoes, boots, socks and belts. Special feature in the west of London: This store will also sell the BIRKENSTOCK Natural Skin Care line.

To celebrate the opening of the two stores, BIRKENSTOCK hosted an after-work event with live music and drinks on August 15 at the newly opened store on Carnaby Street. London music group, “Born and Bread”, created a relaxed vibe at the event with their mixture of RnB, hip hop, grime, dancehall and afrobeat.
